adjunct Women's Ice Hockey Coach/Fraternity and Sorority Life adjunct

Pay Status and Classification: Non-exempt, part-time.

manager: Head Women's Ice Hockey Coach/Director Fraternity and Sorority Life

Position Purpose: Assists in the organization, development, and leadership abilities of a highly competitive Division I Women's Ice Hockey program in support of the mission and core values of Union College.
The position is expected to devote approximately 20 hours per week to assisting Women's Hockey and 5 hours per week to Fraternity and Sorority Life.

Essential Responsibilities and tasks:

» Administration: Manages video preparation, filming, editing and uploading for games and practices. Coordinates all team meals. Assists Administrative adjunct with all office tasks. Partners with College Relations to build relationships and connection efforts with alumni. alumni connection efforts and Assists in organizing team community service plan. Supervises Greek life events. Assists colleagues during busy times and for overlapping responsibilities.

» Recruiting: Assists in recruiting of prospective student-athletes, including management of recruiting data and information via ARMS software.

» Social Media Management: Creates content for social media. Manages women's hockey social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Qualifications required

»Bachelor's Degree and/or a combination of significant education, training, certifications, and/or work practice. Associates degree preferred.

»Advanced expertise of tools to review game footage such as

»HUDL/Sportscode (for pre and post-game scouting) and Microsoft Office required. Prior practice using ARMS, preferred.

»Strong organizational and interpersonal communication expertise.

»Demonstrated expertise of NCAA rules and regulations.

»Able to proactively identify and pursue significant learning and professional development opportunities and apply new expertise, insights, and expertise to enhance results.

» capability to lift moderately heavy items (up to 30 lbs.), and stand, bend and stoop for extended periods of time.

»The capability to foster and enhance a thriving, diverse, inclusive, and culturally vibrant community, while promoting a sense of belonging among students, faculty and staff colleagues, and alumni.
The expected rate for this job offer is $20.00 per hour. Compensation includes an hourly rate plus college housing and a meal plan.
