The technician in this role is responsible for the care and maintenance of animal patients used in research and development studies. The technician supports the preclinical team by ensuring the health and well-being of the patients and maintaining a clean and secure animal facility.
ResponsibilitiesThe work schedule for this role is Sunday through Thursday, from 7am to 3:30pm, with some overtime likely. Training hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. The role requires working in a preclinical setting, primarily with rabbits, pigs, sheep, and dogs. The environment prioritizes biosafety, biosecurity, and the well-being of animal patients.
