Job Description

The Buyer is responsible for sourcing and procuring materials to support production, inventory, and customer demand. This role ensures product availability while balancing cost, quality, and service level objectives across AdvoCare and A93 operations. This role collaborates cross-functionally with internal stakeholders with Marketing, Quality, R&D, Accounting, Creative, Planning, Production, and supplier partners to support forecasting, new product introductions, and ongoing operations optimization.



Job Summary and General Duties:




  • Source, negotiate, andprocureraw materials, packaging, and finished goods to meet company requirements.




  • Develop andmaintainstrong relationships with suppliers to achieve cost, quality, and serviceobjectives.


  • Evaluate supplier performance and support vendor scorecard initiatives.


  • Serve asprimaryliaison between suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues.


  • Create purchase orders (POs) to support forecasts and ensuretimelydelivery of inventory whilemaintainingcompany inventory targets.


  • Support new product introductions and promotions.


  • Ensure procurement activitiescomply withGood Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company documentation standards.


  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.


  • Support all entities, including A93, for all duties related toroleand asassigned.

  • Bachelor’sdegree in a related fieldrequired.


  • 3+years of experience inpurchasingoroperationsmanagement.


  • Consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry experiencestronglypreferred.


  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.


  • Experience withOracle, WMSsystems, and data analysis tools.


  • Experience in working in a manufacturing and environment and raw materialspurchasingrequired.
