We are seeking a talented, creative, and motivated Data Analyst II for a 12-month contract position, working remotely. This role involves performing data integration and analysis of bulk transcriptomics, single-cell omics, and spatial transcriptomics datasets in an immunology-related disease area, focusing on liver biology and metabolic-associated liver disease. The position is part of the Bioinformatics for Immunology Genetic and Genomic Sciences (BIGGS) team under the Quantitative Medicine and Genomics (QMG) umbrella, which performs computational research and provides data-driven insights for immunology discovery and translational programs.
ResponsibilitiesThis position is fully remote, providing flexibility and the opportunity to work within a collaborative and innovative team environment. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to advancing the understanding of disease biology through cutting-edge computational research. The work involves using advanced technologies and software tools, including Python, R, Linux, and Nextflow.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of North Chicago, IL. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
