What are your benefits as an UbiTrainee?
Ubi Q&A Box:
How do I prepare my application to Ubisoft Paris Studio?
First, carefully read the job description to highlight your experiences and skills that seem relevant to the position! A personalized and detailed CV will definitely help you stand out
Cover letter or not? If you have to choose, we'd always prefer a few lines explaining your interest in the internship/apprenticeship specifically, rather than a long, generic, copy-pasted text! There's even a dedicated section for this purpose when you apply on our website.
How does the recruitment process work at the Studio?
If your application is successful, you will initially be contacted by a representative from our Campus team for a phone interview to determine if your profile matches the job description and your aspirations. A video interview via Teams will then be scheduled with your future internship supervisor. You may also be asked to complete a practical exercise during the recruitment process or to speak with your future manager's manager (n+2) and some of your colleagues.
I'm not familiar with the video game industry. Do I have a place at Ubisoft?
It all depends on the position: if you'd like to join us as a Game Designer, Gameplay Programmer, or in our Marketing roles, a solid understanding of the industry will naturally be expected. However, for many other roles, this isn't essential; proof of this is that Ubisoft employs many people who aren't avid gamers . Above all, we're looking to surround ourselves with passionate individuals, whether their passion lies in their specific field, their profession, or entertainment in general .
How are trainees supported during their experience at Ubisoft Paris?
Our Campus team is dedicated to supporting you throughout your experience. Our interns of today will become our talents of tomorrow, and our teams are committed to guiding you in your learning and making your internship a true springboard for your future.
You will have close HR support (answers to everyday questions, mid-course and end-of-course reviews, etc.) and you will join the Studio Academy, our Trainee community, which, throughout your internship, will give you the keys to succeed and grow with us, thanks to actions set up just for you (Welcome Sessions, dedicated Teams group, conferences… and a few other surprises ).
I have a disability, how do I apply?
All our recruitment teams have received disability awareness training. You can therefore apply as usual through our Smartrecruiters platform by attaching your CV and cover letter. If you require any adjustments to the recruitment process, particularly if it involves video interviews, please specify this in your application and/or contact the Disability Inclusion Team by email ( Boost@Ubisoft.com ).
Consult this guide which aims to support you in your application, and discover our actions to encourage more diversity and inclusion.
