Hours: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM (Must work the 8 hrs within the time frame)

Compensation: $120k to $140k per year, Paid via W2 (on the books)

A private household in Saint James, NY is seeking an experienced Full-Time Butler/Chef to support the daily care and smooth operation of the residence. Responsibilities include butler service, cooking, household management support, vendor coordination, errands, and general property oversight. This is a long-term opportunity for a professional, discreet, and dependable candidate with strong private household experience and the ability to provide polished, attentive service.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily meals for the household and manage kitchen operations
• Plan menus, shop for groceries, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen
• Provide butler-style service and general household support as needed
• Oversee aspects of the home’s day-to-day operation to help ensure everything runs smoothly
• Perform light interior cleaning and assist with hands-on household tasks when needed
• Manage exterior cleaning and upkeep of outdoor household areas
• Set out, clean, maintain, and store summer/outdoor furniture
• Assist with wine management, including organization and maintenance of the wine collection
• Help coordinate household needs, anticipate issues, and provide proactive support to the principals
• Ensure the residence is well-maintained, organized, and operating efficiently
• Run household errands, including shopping, pickups, and other household-related tasks as needed

Ideal Qualities:

• Prior experience working in a private household as a Butler, Chef, Houseman, or Household Manager
• Strong experience with butler service, table service, formal and informal service, and guest support
• Confident preparing meals in a private home, including daily family-style meals and occasional entertaining
• Able to assist with menu planning, grocery shopping, pantry organization, and kitchen inventory
• Comfortable supporting the overall care and smooth operation of the residence
• Able to assist with light household management, vendor coordination, errands, and property oversight
• Professional, discreet, trustworthy, polished, and service-oriented
• Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction well
• Organized, proactive, flexible, and capable of managing responsibilities independently
• Comfortable performing both interior and exterior household support as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ solid years of butler/chef experience in a private household.
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
