Job Description

About NA:EUN Hospitality

NA:EUN Hospitality is the vision of Chef Junghyun “JP” Park and Ellia Park, the trailblazing duo behind some of the world’s most celebrated culinary destinations, including Atoboy, NARO, and Atomix—currently ranked as the #1 restaurant in North America.

At NA:EUN, we don't just set the standard for modern Korean cuisine; we redefine the excellence of hospitality itself. Our culture is built on a foundation of passion, precision, and a shared commitment to growth. As we continue to expand our footprint and influence, we are looking for a dedicated HR professional who is eager to support a world-class team in an environment where every detail matters.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our corporate team in-office. As a key member of a lean, high-impact two-person HR team, you will report directly to the Director of People & Culture. This role offers a front-row seat to the operations of a world-class hospitality group, providing the opportunity to take true ownership of essential HR functions.

This is a unique opportunity for an HR professional to work at the intersection of high-level culinary artistry and professional people operations. We offer competitive compensation, a comprehensive benefits package, and the chance to work intimately with leadership in an environment where your contributions directly shape the culture of a globally recognized brand.

HR Generalist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to serve as the backbone of our People Operations. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our restaurant teams, ensuring seamless administration across the entire employee lifecycle—from onboarding and benefits to compliance and payroll.

Key Responsibilities
  • Benefits & Leave Administration: Serve as the subject matter expert for PFL/FMLA, Workers’ Comp, and NYC Safe & Sick Leave. Manage ACA compliance, health insurance enrollments, COBRA initiation, and audit medical invoices for accuracy.

  • Compliance & Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous personnel files and employment handbooks. Ensure all properties remain compliant with local and national labor laws, including coordinating mandatory anti-harassment training.

  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Lead and streamline the onboarding process, conduct background checks, manage exit procedures, and assist with coaching/counseling conversations.

  • Payroll & Data Integrity: Partner with the accounting department to review weekly payroll for all properties, respond to unemployment inquiries, and handle employment verifications.

  • Talent & Engagement: Support recruitment efforts and contribute to initiatives that drive employee engagement and retention across our restaurants.

Qualifications
  • Experience: 1–2 years of HR administration experience; Hospitality industry experience is strongly preferred.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or a related field is preferred.

  • Technical Savviness: High proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Gusto, or Rippling), ATS software, and G-Suite/Microsoft Office. You should be comfortable learning new digital tools quickly and maintaining "paperless" workflows.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR principles, labor regulations, and work visa requirements.

  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to listen actively and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Mindset : A reliable, independent worker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple priorities with ease.

  • Languages: Fluency in Spanish is a significant plus.
