Job Description

Manufacturing or Hospitality HR Generalist

Location: Yountville, CA
Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite
 

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bi lingual Spanish HR Generalist to provide hands-on human resources leadership and operational support for an onsite team in Yountville. This role will support day-to-day HR operations while partnering closely with leadership to support employees, ensure compliance, and maintain effective people processes during a period of transition or increased workload.

The ideal candidate is a HR professional who is comfortable working fully onsite, managing multiple priorities, and operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, and internal transitions

  • Ensure compliance with California labor laws, wage and hour regulations, and company policies

  • Review, update, and enforce employee handbooks, policies, and procedures

  • Support recruiting and hiring processes, including coordination with internal teams and external recruiters

  • Assist with offer letters, background checks, and onboarding documentation

  • Support workforce planning and headcount tracking

  • Oversee benefits administration, leave management, and payroll coordination

  • Support annual compensation planning and job evaluations, as applicable

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation

  • Act as a trusted HR support to managers and leadership

  • Provide guidance on organizational change, process improvements, and employee engagement initiatives

  • Support special HR projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Manufacturing or Hospitality background
  • Bilingual Spanish pref.
  • 2+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience in an HR Manager or similar role
  • Knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance
  • Proven experience handling employee relations issues and investigations

  • Experience supporting onsite workforces and excellent communication, judgment, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Preferred Experience

  • SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP or PHR / SPHR certification

  • Experience in professional services, corporate, hospitality, or operational environments

  • Prior contract or interim HR leadership experience
