A Call Center Agent is responsible for handling inbound and/or outbound customer calls to provide support, resolve issues, answer inquiries, and promote products or services. The role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused attitude.
Answer incoming calls professionally and courteously
Respond to customer inquiries about products or services
Provide accurate information and guidance
Identify customer needs and troubleshoot problems
Resolve complaints efficiently and effectively
Escalate complex issues to supervisors when necessary
Record call details in the company system
Update customer information accurately
Maintain confidentiality of customer data
High school diploma or equivalent (college degree is a plus)
Excellent verbal communication skills
Strong listening and problem-solving skills
Basic computer and data entry skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Customer service experience (preferred but not always required)
