Bachelors in computer science or management information systems.10 years experience as an analytics professional.5 years experience managing enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence environments.Expert in using business intelligent tools, SAP Export, business objects.Highly skilled in data analytics/data presentment.Proficient customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.Background in large data warehouse environments, including Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) and parallel, mixed-mode processing in the data warehouse.Experience with data governance and processes.Deep background in metadata management and metadata management tools, multi-tier reporting systems design and support practices, including architecture, engineering, configuration, tuning, and capacity planning.Experience in developing data conversions, interfaces, complex reports/extracts, and workflow.Proficient with MS Office products.Ability to proactively work independently and lead mid- to large-sized teams to deliver business solutions.Ability to lead and motivate staff to apply skills and techniques to solve dynamic problems. Ability to blend creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills for refining existing theories or developing new system approaches to seize opportunities to sustain business success.Ability to extract, analyze and process large amounts of data obtained from multiple systems.Advanced knowledge of database internals.Highly advanced skills in statistical analysis.Proficient with SAS or other statistical packages used to analyze large datasets.Ability to drive successful results, make decisions with limited information, and adjust quickly in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment managing multiple priorities across different business units.Proven ability to drive a customer-focused strategic vision while building a win-win approach to meeting business needs.Ability to influence without authority, gain consensus and drive organizational adoption.Solid understanding of project and software development ASAP or Agile methodologies and can demonstrate proficiency in the applied use of systems and process analysis tools. Full system life cycle experience, including development lifecycle methodologies.Proven problem solving, organizational, analytical and decision making abilities based on sound business judgment and the application of impact analysis.Demonstrated ability to build quick and effective work rapport with others and strong teambuilding skills.Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate at all levels in the organization.M.B.A. degree (but with undergraduate degree in a technical discipline).Working knowledge of WAC rules and tariffs, WUTC rules and regulations.In-depth knowledge of meter information and utility business practices.In-depth knowledge in meter data management best practices.Experience in managing an organization of 12+ employees (including contractors) with an annual budget exceeding $3 million.4 years SAP BI experience with strong SAP BI, info-cubes and BEX Analyzer skills.Experience working with customers to develop solutions to complex business problems.
