Bookkeeper
JOIN AN AMAZING TEAM! Our SNAP-Ed Regional Team is seeking a Bookkeeper to work with our financial team preparing financial reports which reflect the financial conditon of the SNAP-Ed Grants. This individual is responsible for maintianing complete, accurate, and systematic set of records for all SNAP-Ed financial transactions involving complex accounting procedures and multiple financial platfomrs. this job offer is part of a 9-county regional team that has 12 other team members located all over the region. The Bookkeeper will assist with management, monitoring, and preparation of budgets; verify financial reports located on grant/contrct and other fund requirements; construct financial statements and reports; monitor, tracking and verifying all accounts assigned. Prepare grant billings and invoices. This is a grant funded fulltime position working 37.5 hours per week. High School Diploma or equivalent education required. expertise of accounting principles, procedures, and practices Proficient in computer operations of the Windows system, Microsoft Office Suite and Excel required. Willing to lgain Cornell specific accounting software. Abiity to organize and manage a diverse workload focusing on identified priorities. Position is located in Middletown office.
