- Work with AutoCAD Civil 3D & develop expertise in platting & staking

responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Manage day-to-day operations of the survey department, including budgeting, scheduling, and project delegation.
- Technical Oversight & QA/QC: Review, sign, and seal surveys (ALTA/NSPS, boundary, topographic, construction staking) to ensure accuracy and compliance with local/state Tennessee regulations.
- Team Management: Supervise and train field survey crews and office technicians, promoting safety and professional development
- Develop and manage complex survey projects, including platting, boundary/ALTA surveys, and topographic surveys
- Create accurate and detailed linework and drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Plan and execute staking locations for commercial and residential projects
- Lead and mentor junior surveyors and technicians as needed
- Conduct quality checks on survey data and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project deliverables meet requirements
