Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Summary

As a Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will provide therapy to clients who need support with personal relationships, family concerns, emotional health, and everyday stressors that affect home life and connection. Your work will include listening carefully, identifying patterns, building practical treatment goals, and helping clients move through difficult seasons with professional support.

This role offers the ability to focus on quality care without commuting or managing a traditional office setting. You will work through a secure telehealth platform while maintaining the same clinical standards expected in an in-person environment.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients virtually for ongoing marriage, family, couples, and individual therapy
  • Gather clinical information during intake and use it to guide treatment direction
  • Help clients understand patterns that may be affecting relationships, communication, and emotional wellbeing
  • Create clear treatment plans with measurable goals and appropriate interventions
  • Document each session accurately and within required timelines
  • Provide support for concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, family stress, adjustment issues, and parenting challenges
  • Use secure technology to protect client privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance
  • Refer clients to additional services when their needs fall outside the scope of telehealth care
  • Maintain a professional remote setup for consistent, private client sessions

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field
  • Active and unrestricted LMFT license in North Carolina
  • Previous experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families
  • Comfortable delivering care through telehealth and using electronic health records
  • Strong understanding of family systems, relational therapy, and treatment planning
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries, organized documentation, and reliable communication
  • Must have a private workspace suitable for confidential virtual sessions

Benefits

  • $115,000–$120,000 annual salary
  • Full-time remote position
  • 2 weeks PTO
  • Health Insurance
  • 401K Plan with 3% Company Match
  • Monday–Friday schedule, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Supportive clinical and administrative structure
  • Stable caseload and long-term career opportunity

Qualified North Carolina LMFTs who are looking for a professional telehealth role are encouraged to submit their resume for consideration.
