Patient Services Representative

Thank you for your interest in the Work From Home Patient Services Representative position at American Health Connection. AHC is a virtual healthcare call center with a remote team supporting a medical health system client to provide high volume patient scheduling and front office duties.

Patient Services Representatives communicate with patients via phone, accurately and timely schedule appointments based on provided protocols, pre-register patients and verify insurance. This is a virtual call center position, so you know when you disconnect the call, you are done with that task and on to the next one. All telephonic call center, no on-camera.

• Must have a minimum of one year of high-volume medical scheduling experience in a call center environment. Representatives can expect to handle 75+ calls back-to-back per shift. Medical front office experience strongly preferred. Telephonic call center, no on-camera.
• Electronic medical record system (EMR/EHR) experience.
• Proficient and self-sufficient on a desktop computer and have a sense of urgency in assisting patients.
• Candidates must have exceptional communication skills, including written (legible, concise, and with appropriate spelling) and verbal, including proper phone etiquette.
• The Patient Services Representatives must have private, noise-free, HIPAA-compliant space at home.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Bilingual skills is preferred but not required.
