Morning Shift Pet Care Attendant

Position Summary:

The Morning Shift Pet Care Attendant is responsible for starting the day at Noah’s Pet Hotel & Spa by ensuring all pets receive proper care, feeding, and clean accommodations. This role includes kennel cleaning, feeding pets, supervising daycare groups, assisting customers with check-ins and check-outs, and answering phone calls. The position requires reliability, attention to detail, and a genuine love for animals.

Shift Time:

• Morning shift begins at 6:30 AM . Staff must arrive on time and be ready to begin work immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

Animal Care:

• Feed all boarding pets according to their feeding instructions.
• Provide fresh water and monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress.
• Administer medications as directed by management when applicable.

Cleaning & Facility Care:

• Clean and sanitize all boarding suites, runs, and play areas.
• Remove waste and maintain sanitary conditions throughout the facility.
• Sweep, mop, and keep the facility clean and organized.

Doggy Daycare:

• Prepare and supervise daycare groups.
• Monitor dog behavior and ensure safe play at all times.
• Separate dogs when necessary and report behavioral concerns to management.

Customer Service:

• Assist with morning check-ins and check-outs for boarding and daycare guests.
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Confirm reservation details and ensure all required information is complete.

Phone & Communication:

• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Provide information about services such as boarding, daycare, and grooming.
• Assist customers with scheduling and questions.

Team Communication:

• Communicate important notes about pets to other staff members and incoming shifts.
• Document any incidents, health concerns, or special instructions.

Requirements:

• Must be reliable and punctual for early morning shifts.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds .
• Comfortable working around dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Friendly and professional customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment .

Work Schedule:

• Schedule will include early morning

Typical shifts include:

• Monday–Friday
• 6:30 AM – Morning Opening Shift till 11am
