Salary: $131,000 - 192,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience in network security engineering, including at least 5 years focused on proxy and DLP solutions.
• Familiarity with financial institutions and a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance demands.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Defender, Palo Alto Prisma Access, and Netskope solutions.
• Proven collaboration with audit and compliance teams, including executing control tests.
• In-depth knowledge of proxy protocols ( SOCKS) and principles of DLP.
• Proficiency in firewall setup, secure web gateways, and SASE architecture.
• Strong scripting abilities in languages such as PowerShell and Python for automation purposes.
• Understanding of Zero Trust frameworks and architectures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

• Design, implement, and enhance proxy and DLP solutions to secure sensitive information and ensure safe network access.
• Act as the subject matter expert for proxy and DLP technologies, providing strategic and technical insights to engineering teams and leadership.
• Deploy and integrate security solutions from vendors like Microsoft, Palo Alto, and Netskope into existing and new network environments.
• Collaborate proactively with audit and compliance teams to ensure all solutions meet regulatory standards (e.g., PCI DSS, SOX, NYDFS).
• Create, implement, and evaluate security controls to adhere to compliance standards, ensuring alignment with governance policies.
• Monitor the health, performance, and reliability of proxy and DLP systems, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
• Work with security and governance teams to establish, implement, and enforce security policies and configurations.
• Provide advice to the security operations team regarding investigations and responses to network security incidents related to proxy and DLP technologies.
• Stay informed about emerging trends in network security and suggest new tools or processes to bolster our security posture.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, operational procedures, control test results, and troubleshooting guides.
