Job Overview

A Human Resources Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in the HR department, assisting in various administrative and operational functions related to human resources. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in starting a career in Human Resources within the dynamic and fast-paced hospitality industry.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist with onboarding and new hire paperwork
  • Support recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews
  • Serve as a point of contact for associate questions
  • Maintain employee files (significant filing involved) with strict confidentiality
  • Help coordinate training initiatives, benefits questions, and HR projects
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
  • Create engaging bulletin boards and help plan fun activities and employee engagement events for associates
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the HR Director/Manager

Working Conditions & Physical Effort

Physical work is a primary part of many of our hotel and resort jobs. Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs. Some work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machines.
