  • Develop executive-level briefings, white papers, issue papers, and decision memoranda for federal leadership.
  • Provide situational analysis and recommendations regarding program execution, integration challenges, and cross-program impacts.
  • Support participation in DOE product realization processes, technical reviews, and interagency coordination meetings.
  • Lead or support preparation and response to data calls, Congressional inquiries, and short-notice requests from NNSA senior leadership and Departmental officials.
  • Identify emerging technical, policy, or programmatic risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Track action items and key deliverables, ensuring accountability and timely resolution of issues.
  • Support development of program plans, implementation strategies, and long-range planning documents aligned to Defense Programs priorities.

Requirements:

  • Active DOE Q clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Program Management, Business, or related discipline.
  • Experience supporting DOE/NNSA, DoD, national laboratories, nuclear production environments, or comparable federal programs.
  • Experience supporting nuclear weapons modernization, sustainment, life extension, or related defense acquisition efforts.
  • Understanding of Nuclear Security Enterprise roles and responsibilities, including design and production agency interfaces.
  • Experience briefing or supporting briefings for federal officials or military leadership.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to complex analytical efforts in a high-visibility environment.
