Boston Speech Therapy is thrilled to announce an opening for a full time Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our passionate team. We are looking for dedicated professionals with experience who are eager to help individuals with communication disorders achieve their goals. As an SLPA, you will work directly under the supervision of licensed Speech Language Pathologists in a dynamic and supportive environment, primarily focusing on school-based therapy.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $50 to $55, based on experience, and provides an opportunity for impactful work in the community. This position is at an elementary school. Experience is necessary

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists in assessing and evaluating clients.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve speech and language skills.
• Monitor and document client progress, providing feedback to the supervising SLP.
• Collaborate with families and educators to facilitate effective communication strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development to enhance clinical practice.
• Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Current state certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a clinical or school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
