Job Description

Come join the Mahoney Environmental Solutions team as a Sustainability Analyst.  The Sustainability Analyst is responsible for regulatory compliance and reporting under ISCC and/or RFS traceability and related sustainability frameworks.  This position plays a critical role in maintaining our sustainability certifications and meeting customer sustainability requirements.    This position will provide support for either our Aegex platform or ISCC reporting or both. 

Location: Woodridge, IL 
Hybrid work schedule 3 days in office and 2 days working from home.

Starting Annual Salary: $60,000-$67,000

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Data Collection & Reporting: Collect, validate, and prepare data for submission and update relevant schedules required under sustainability reporting schemas.  Review and analyze data, reports, and inventory/mass balances, to ensure completeness & accuracy. 
• Strategic Support and Internal Collaboration: Work with sales, operations, and other departments to identify and integrate opportunities for improving operational reporting, controls, and data management related to inventory and sustainability.
• External Collaboration: Respond to information requests from customers, consultants, and auditors, and collaborate with these parties to determine and implement best practices in the developing sustainability landscape.
• Research: Stay informed about emerging sustainability regulations, trends, and technologies to ensure the organization remains compliant and competitive.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of sustainability procedures for audits and regulatory requirements. 

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Accounting or a related field preferred.
• ISCC experience or familiarity preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in data analysis or sustainability/compliance reporting related experience required.
