Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging for designated exams, ensuring diagnostic image quality and patient safety.
- Operate the Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner and related fluoroscopy tools; adjust technique to patient size and clinical indication.
- Position patients, educate on procedures, and maintain clear communication with radiologists and care teams.
- Adhere to ALARA principles, radiation safety guidelines, and infection control standards; manage contrast administration per protocol where credentialed.
- Complete documentation in the electronic health record; verify orders and ensure accurate labeling and archiving of images.
- Provide after-hours coverage as assigned (2–3 nights per week) and participate in shift handoffs with the oncoming team.

Requirements
- Active California Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
- ARRT certification in Radiography; current CT certification (ARRT-CT) or equivalent and ability to perform duties in at least one additional advanced modality (e.g., CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, or PET).
- Minimum 2 years of radiology experience in the submitted unit specialty within the last 3 months.
- Current fluoroscopy experience and IV certification or willingness to obtain.
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification.
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor's degree or higher preferred; continuing education aligned with modality certification.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with variable shifts and on-call requirements.
