Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg in Saratoga Springs, NY. Start date 06/08/2026 for a travel temporary assignment on a Med‑Surg unit with adults and geriatrics and remote telemetry monitored centrally. Shift is nights, 3x12-hour blocks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,995 to $2,077. This assignment occurs in a hospital setting, on a Med‑Surg unit with centralized telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside care for adult and geriatric Med‑Surg patients
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, manage IV therapy, oxygen support, and infection control measures
- Use remote telemetry monitoring, respond to alarms, and escalate concerns through rapid response as needed
- Collaborate with PT, Respiratory, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Work, Pharmacy, and other disciplines; support discharge planning and patient education
- Document care and updates in EPIC; maintain accurate care plans and ensure safety with isolation precautions/PPE
- Participate in rapid response or code events as appropriate; support post-operative and oncology/infectious disease patients as assigned

Requirements
- NY State RN license required at submission; submit recent Nursys verification and certifications prior to start; references required
- Minimum 2 years of acute hospital Med‑Surg nursing experience; prior travel nursing experience required
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- EPIC charting experience required; EKG competency required (Relias EKG exam shortly after signing; onsite competency)
- Flu vaccine required; exemptions must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to start; COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Local hire restriction: candidates with a permanent address within 50 miles of Saratoga Springs are NOT eligible; orientation is 36 hours
