Water Restoration Technician

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $22 - $30 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Water Restoration Technician:

• Respond promptly to emergency water damage service calls at various locations
• Extract standing water from flooring, carpets, and crawl spaces using professional grade equipment
• Remove damaged building materials such as drywall, insulation, and flooring when necessary
• Set up and monitor specialized drying equipment including air movers and dehumidifiers
• Perform moisture mapping and take regular readings to track the drying progress
• Complete daily field logs and documentation regarding the scope of work and equipment used
• Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and ensure all tools are in good working order
• Communicate professionally with property owners to explain the restoration process and answer questions
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment on every job site

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Experience in restoration, construction, or a similar field is preferred but not required
• Ability to participate in a rotating on call schedule for emergency responses
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Comfort working in tight spaces such as attics or crawl spaces
• Excellent communication skills and a customer service oriented attitude
• A valid drivers license and a clean driving record
• Basic computer skills for completing digital documentation and time tracking
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background check and drug screening required
