QualDerm Partners is looking for a dedicated Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team in Raleigh, NC. As a Dermatology Medical Assistant in Raleigh, you will be an integral part of our clinical staff, playing a key role in facilitating excellent patient care and ensuring smooth office operations. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures by ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are readily available.
• Perform basic lab tests and handle specimen collection for analysis.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Manage appointment scheduling and ensure effective office communication.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and useful skincare practices.
• Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and adequately stocked with supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, especially related to dermatology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software is a plus.
