Xactimate Estimator (Local – Contract / Flat Fee Per File)

Location: Greater Seattle Area – Local Candidates Only

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Xactimate Estimator (Xactimator) located in the Greater Seattle area to support insurance restoration and construction projects.

This position is for local candidates only. We are looking to meet in person and build a long-term working relationship. The right candidate may also be asked to conduct occasional site visits to fully understand project scope before writing estimates.

This is a contract-based role paid on a flat fee per estimate , not hourly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and defensible estimates using Xactimate (X1 preferred)
• Review photos, measurements, and field documentation
• Conduct site visits when needed to assess full project scope
• Write complete mitigation, repair, and reconstruction scopes
• Communicate clearly over the phone to review estimate strategy
• Revise estimates as needed based on carrier feedback
• Ensure pricing aligns with Seattle-area market conditions

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Xactimate
• Experience with insurance restoration and reconstruction estimating
• Understanding of carrier expectations and supplement strategy
• Comfortable conducting in-person meetings and occasional site inspections
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and responsive

Compensation

• Flat fee per estimate (negotiable based on project size and complexity)
